Oracle Recovery Manager is the cornerstone of the Oracle backup and recovery toolset, and allows organisations to develop a robust and reliable backup strategy for all of their Oracle databases.
Understanding the practical uses of RMAN and how best to implement an RMAN backup and recovery strategy is key to any organisations recovery plans, whether a standalone database or Real Application Cluster (RAC).

This practical session will examine the full lifecycle of the Backup and Disaster Recovery process, and will cover strategies that would be suitable for all organisations, from simple and efficient policies for Small and Medium Sized companies (SME’s) through to complex, scaleable solutions for larger enterprises.
Delegates will be given the opportunity to discuss a real world case study illustrating the practical delivery of an Enterprise Backup solution using the latest Oracle Technologies.
